Life as Celebration

One of the most beautiful teachings within the Tantric texts is the reminder to engage fully with the world around us.

It’s easy to become stagnant in our practices/routines and remain within our comforts.

And it’s even easier to feel overwhelmed with daily responsibilities/roles in our fast paces lives, forgetting the nature of our essence.

Both leave us feeling discounted, static and lacking vitality.

Tantra teaches us boundaries to expand and open ourselves to connect in new ways while remaining true to our needs/values.

It acknowledges that every moment is an opportunity to not only live consciously, but to ENJOY living consciously.

We are meant to feel radiate and alive - our faces want to smile, our legs want to dance and our hearts want to beat fast with passion and excitement.

To celebrate is to live in this human embodiment!

And we don’t need permission or to be on holiday to have fun, immerse in pleasure or see beauty.

It’s our birthright to experience fun, pleasure and beauty as often as possible...and our practice is to be non-attached to it...this is how life can become a celebration...even amidst challenges or pain.

Most of the time it’s our human conditioning that gets in the way and blocks us from engaging fully with ourself and the world around us. So relax, shake it up, laugh it off and let yourself go wild.

Let yourself celebrate the small things...don’t wait for a special occasion to do what brings you joy and happiness. Now is the time to rejoice!

Live in Magic

The more we choose to look for the good and see the beauty, the more our lives become infused with magic.

It often requires us to slow down enough to truly notice, experience and embrace the small moments and transitions of our day to day experience.

And when we do, we awaken to deeper connection and meaning. Life becomes sacred, even during the seemingly mundane.

It’s through our own personal experience of this Divinity that we feel it within the rest of the Universe.

We can embrace and move towards living life open to the potential of a consciously co-created space where magic arises from.

And it doesn’t always have to be grand or idyllic - often the most magical moments are free because they are created by your willingness to see and feel.

For me it’s listening to the sounds and song of the birds and allow my imagination to run wild with their message...feeling the sunshine on my face and let its vitality be a guide throughout the rest of my day...tasting each flavor of my food and visualizing it nourishing my body...or simply returning to my breath and reminding myself of my life force.

The truth is, we are each our own Universe, complete with millions of magical moments, just waiting to be felt in the body and dreamed up in the mind.

It only takes minutes to remember that life is full of beauty - that we are rich in creative potential and mystical beings infinitely supported by the vast web of life.
